Custom Upload Folders 1.2 script description:

Publisher review:

By default, WordPress arranges all new uploads on a month/year basis, creating new folders for ever year and month of the year, placing files inside them, based on their upload date.

While this makes a lot of logic, the creators of WordPress have never thought what would happen if their little blogging system would end up ruling the Web development World, and the platform would be used on sites with thousand of uploaded files, sometimes every month even.

The 'Custom Upload Folders' plugin allows WP admins to setup different configurations for the upload folders.

Available options:
- by author
- by year/month/day
- by file type
- by post slug
- by post ID

Installation:

Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
